This job is based out of the Chicago headquarters.

Position Overview:

Echo is seeking a Vice President to lead the Micro Shipper Segment of our business who is strategic, analytical, and results driven. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the ideal candidate is also creative, collaborative, motivated, and a strong communicator with exceptional attention to detail. You will help shape Echo’s strategy to drive revenue in the Micro Shipper segment, companies with less than $25mm of revenue, leveraging various transportation solutions, with a high comfort level in creating new structures and processes.

Job Requirements

    • Work closely with the CCO, SVP of Strategy, SVP of Analytics, Business Unit leaders, SVP of Marketing and other stakeholders to develop our growth strategy for this segment 
    • Analyze, identify and implement opportunities across solutions/modes (truckload, partial truckload, LTL, multi-modal, refrigerated, etc.) 
    • Optimize account acquisition costs and track LTV 
    • Develop and execute strategies to reduce client churn 
    • Manage SMB client experience, engagement and NPS
    • Provide input into SMB segment technology roadmap 
    • Partner with marketing to drive inbound leads targeted specifically at the SMB market 
    • Drive improvement to client attrition rate, cost to serve, margin performance, and profitability
