Job Description

Staff Accountant Needed for a long-term role in the Chicago market.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a marketing or professional services environment as an accountant performing: journal entries, general ledger maintenance, bank account reconciliations and financial statement preparation.


·       Journal Entries / General Ledger maintenance

·       Reconciliations

·       Ad Hoc Reporting

·       Financial Statement preparation

·       GAAP accounting

·       Special assignments as the need arises

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • BS/BA Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years accounting experience in a marketing / professional services environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office:  specifically Microsoft Excel Ex: Pivot Tables & V-Look Ups preferred
  • Experience with Great Plains or SAP software a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
