Clinical Specialist Pharmacist
Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and the Clinical Pharmacy Manager, is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, controlling and directing programs and activities to provide a Clinical Pharmacy Service. This position involves a high level of professional knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with other health professionals. A high degree of accuracy is required for quality patient care.
Education/Experience: Must hold current and valid registration as a Pharmacist in the State of Indiana, having attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy (requires fulfilling continuing education requirements- 30c.e.u. every 2 years to maintain licensure). Must have a broad and thorough knowledge of drug therapy, experience or training in pharmacokinetic dosing, nutritional support and drug information services. Must have good written and communication skills and the ability to interact with other health professionals. Personal computer experience would be advantageous in data analysis.
