We are currently searching for a Sr. Pricing Analyst to be based out of Harvey, Illinois. Reporting to the Sr. Strategic Pricing Manager, this person will be responsible for performing quantitative and surgical pricing analyses to optimize overall profitability and to drive continuous improvement activities for the pricing and quotation team.

The ideal candidate will have minimum of 6 years of experience in pragmatic pricing solutions, quotations, sourcing/purchasing, finance, transfer cost pricing, or continuous improvement and 5 or more years of experience within a manufacturing setting. Experience in lean manufacturing is a plus.

Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


    • Conduct product price research, analysis, and program development for price management strategies in support of sales and profit goals.
    • Support and contribute to sales and marketing strategies involving new product pricing, price modifications to existing products, and implementation of new price programs and new business practices.
    • Identify opportunities to optimize processes regarding stock discount pricing, project quoting, and special pricing agreements.
    • Lead cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives relating to pricing processes.
    • Contribute to all aspects of customer bids/RFPs/RFQs by performing strategic pricing analysis and overall profitability analysis of the business opportunity for all Mechanical Products -amp; Solutions customer segments.
    • Author process improvements, ideation, and consultative work - building towards a Pricing Center of Excellence, PCoE.




Required (Basic) Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Quantitative Business Analysis, Economics, or Mathematics or similar field.
    • Minimum 6 years of experience in pricing, quotations, sourcing/purchasing, finance, or continuous improvement.
    • Minimum 5 or more years of experience within a manufacturing setting.




Preferred Qualifications:


    • 10 or more years of experience in Pricing, Quotations, Sourcing/Purchasing, Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP), or Finance Role, preferably in a manufacturing setting; (B2B) Electrical or Mechanical Industries.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Quantitative Business Analysis, Economics, or Mathematics or similar field.
    • Master's degree: MBA, Economics, Finance, or other quantitative terminal degree.
    • Consultative experience with system solutions, integrations, implementations, with end to end value chain analysis.
    • Background in Quantitative Sales Support Roles
    • Solid understanding with hands on experience using ERP systems SAP and/or JDE.
    • Experience with Salesforce, SQL, Zilliant OR other Sales Support/Pricing and Enterprise Support Software.
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel with VBA experience. High preference given for ability to write and create macros.
    • Strong preference given to Six Sigma experience and/or Professional Pricing Society certifications.
    • Knowledge of Mechanical Products and Solutions within the Pipe and Tube Industry through either manufacturing, distribution, service center, or OEM.
