VP Operations


Job Description

Company is looking for a VP, Operations to join our team.  This newly created role will  be accountable for delivering on Company’s retailer and client commitments and responsible for building on to our existing tools, processes and reports to drive field execution across our growing network of kiosks.  

The VP, Operations will create the group’s operating plan and goals and be responsible for delivering the strategy to help our team scale as we expand our footprint. Our ideal candidate is a data-driven leader with a track-record in retail operations. This candidate will be responsible for collaborating with our Technology Team to build the right tools and will lead other managers on the Operation Teams to effectively activate our team.

The VP, Operations will use data to assess impact and prioritize action, taking proactive measures to move the business forward is key.  They must be able to drive accountability and ownership to reach our operational metrics, with both our internal team and external business partners. 

A focus on leading a high-performance culture with the proven ability to attract, grow and build talent is essential. We are looking for an experienced leader who is ready to join our talented Operations Team and elevate our ability to execute on behalf of our Retail and Brand clients.

We work in a distributed environment.  Our office is in Chicago, but you can be located within the continental United States.  There will be travel required to our Chicago office from time to time. 

Key responsibilities for this role...

  • • Develop Operations KPIs, methods to monitor, and strategies to improve Identify and grow top talent

  • • Directly lead 2-3 Director / Sr Directors, and indirectly lead a team of 20+ including support agents, analysts, project managers and coordinators  

  • • Manage Company’s cost of goods P&L, which includes campaign profitability, and vendor terms and performance

  • • Build technology and resource roadmaps to ensure efficiency and scalability of team and tools

Your skills, background and experience include…

  • • 10+ yrs of experience leading an operations-focused function

  • • Prior experience with retail operations either directly or indirectly as service provider to retailers is required

  • • Six Sigma Black Belt certified preferred

  • • People Leadership: Proven ability to attract, grow and build talent

  • • Communication: Clearly communicate across all levels of the organization and externally with Retailer Operations and Store Operations groups
