Job Description


Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is currently seeking a Marketing, Brand Strategist. You will use your skills to leverage brand as a strategic asset to building and supporting the firm. This position is a centralized function and supports internal clients.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Marketing, Brand Strategist will educate internal stakeholders on our brand naming standards

  • Manage all aspects of naming projects, including conducting naming assessments/brainstorms, generating names, owning desktop searches, and building and giving presentations

  • As a Marketing, Brand Strategist, you will liaise with the office of General Counsel to review and approve all names

  • Collaborate on brand strategy positioning and messaging projects, including the development of value propositions, brand narratives and messaging guides

  • Revise, edit, and proofread content as needed

  • Marketing, Brand Strategists support on additional brand strategy projects and priority initiatives

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 4-7 years in brand strategy a related field, either client or agency-side

  • Previous naming, positioning, and messaging experience required

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to develop very strong, original ideas under pressure and with quick turn around

  • Ability to explain, sell and defend ideas, while remaining open to feedback and constructive criticism

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to self-manage

  • Collaborative and diplomatic work style

  • B2B background or understanding of professional services business/environment preferred
