Job Description

Jefferson Wells has an immediate opportunity for a REMEDIATION DATA ANALYST! This is a fully remote contract role expected to last a minimum of one year.

The Data Analyst will provide support for security, innovation and remediation efforts enterprise-wide.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Gather information from various sources and interpret patterns/trends to aid in data collection/analysis
Identify and correct problems in data sets, including performing quality assurance on imported data
Evaluate information to reach conclusions, build models, test data set validations, and clean data sets to ensure accurate reporting
Define new data collection and analysis processes

Requirements for consideration:
Basic knowledge in Programming/Scripting skills in languages such as SQL, Python and/or R - a plus
Analytical, "problem-solving" mindset
Exposure to statistical software
Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning, transforming techniques
Reporting and data visualization skills
Basic understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques - nice to have, not mandatory
Proficiency in MS Excel
Technical writing ability
Excellent attention to detail
