Location: Scottsdale AZ  
Duration: 12-24 Month Contract  
Very Competitive Compensation: 55-59/HR.  DOE

Government IT Solutions & Services Sourcing Specialist Needed! 
This is an exciting opportunity to further the advancement of cutting-edge technology that support some of the top-notch US defense/intelligence services and systems with one of our major defense industry clients.  
As a Government IT Solutions & Services Sourcing Specialist you will:  
Develop Supply Chain Management strategies to support transition to the Cloud and lead Cloud procurement initiatives, working with project technical teams, Supply Chain and Corporate leadership, and the IT Hardware and Software Commodity team to support both customer program and enterprise IT needs.
Ideal Background:
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Contracts, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or a related field, or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or a juris doctor or master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience 
  • Broad technology sourcing and acquisition experience in IT hardware and software, particularly Cloud and Cloud-based solutions, such as SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS, and the IoT
  • Specific experience with AWS GovCloud (US), AWS Marketplace, Microsoft Azure, Azure GovCloud, or Oracle-Enabled Cloud Solutions 
  • Drive to be a thought leader on Cloud and related policy initiatives relevant to the Company's mission and business objectives
  • Significant experience preparing comprehensive guidelines and templates for Cloud Agreements 
  • Experience working with product development, engineering, and IT teams
  • Knowledge of Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRamp) compliance
  • Significant experience negotiating and drafting a wide variety of contracts, software licenses, and statements of work, and resolving complex contract issues
  • Proven experience identifying strategies and associated risks for process changes in migrating on-premise IT infrastructure to the cloud in order to increase agility and speed
  • Proven experience in previous cloud contracting and developing lessons learned in order to avoid integration problems and security vulnerabilities
  • Basic proficiency in intellectual property laws as they apply to technology
  • Knowledge in the applicable contractual flow downs - federal, state, Federal Acquisition Requirements (FARs) / Department of Defense FARs, including data privacy laws and Government cyber security regulations, and the ability to apply them in the procurement of commodities, services and subcontracts
  • Knowledge of Cloud business practices and IT market conditions sufficient to evaluate supplier bids, 
  • Ability to identify Cloud-related risks and prioritize and communicate effective solutions
  • Ability to understand the internal and external customers" position as well as the supplier and successfully influence the decision makers to achieve the business and customer"s needs 
  • Experience in developing sourcing and supplier management strategic plans to accomplish performance and savings goals that address overall program capture and execution needs 
  • Ability to manage supplier performance and relationship at a high level, including executive-level engagement
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and IT environments
  • Ability to translate highly technical concepts into straightforward language
  • Informed interest in emerging technology law and corporate responsibility
  • Ability to develop proficient knowledge of company products, competitive products and services
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver high-quality, accurate work within targeted deadlines
  • Develop and implement strategies that ensure positive outcomes and program mission success
  • Superior business acumen and the ability to address and communicate complex opportunities and issues in creative and effective ways

Job Requirements

Required Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
NOTE: AGAIN - MUST BE US CITIZEN to be eligible for this position. There is no relocation or expense package offered for this position. Rates are all inclusive W2 hourly wages. No 1099, No third parties, no C2C
