Maximus is currently looking for an OPM Seasonal/Limited Services Work at Home Customer Service Representative(s) at the Lawrence, KS location. This position assists callers by delivering general OPM healthcare enrollment information to the callers. OMP Seasonal/Limited Service CSRs will provide knowledgeable responses to telephone inquiries in a courteous and professional manner and follow established policies and operating procedures. This is a great opportunity for individuals that want to work on a rewarding project.

This is a remote-(work at home) position; however, you must reside within a 75 mile radius and be able to report onsite to the Maximus Lawrence, KS location as needed during the duration of the project. Equipment will be provided but must meet the remote position requirement provided below:

Remote Position Requirements:

  • Private and Secure workspace from home
  • Access to LAN (wired connection/ethernet) at home (Not WIFI)
  • Internet provider that offers enough speed for multiple users without latency or lag (i.e. housemate also WFH, kids playing video games or streaming shows, etc.

Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum six (6) months customer service experience required

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide knowledgeable responses to telephone, email and chat inquiries in a courteous and professional¬†Manner
  • Follow established and documented policies and standard operating procedures such as filling out timesheets, adhering to¬†privacy rules and responding to numerous telephone, email and chat inquiries
  • Utilize standard technology such as telephone, e-mail, and web browser to perform job duties
  • Assist caller with locating information needed to make their healthcare plan decision
  • Refer calls to other agencies as specified in the training and work instruction documents
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OPM regulations and policies as they apply
  • Report problems that occur via the online system so they can be addressed by the appropriate parties
  • Respond to telephone, email and chat inquiries within the set departmental staffing and time parameters
    Light data entry and clerical duties as defined in the training and work instruction documents
  • May be required to work scheduled holidays. Overtime may be required
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required
  • Must be able to pass a government background check
