Position Summary:

This role is responsible for:

  • Lead development and on-going management of GPO agreements and state contracts
  • Improving ADT Commercial’s market position and achieving financial growth within the state and local government vertical market
  • Developing strategic account plans and evaluating which clients within this vertical market are essential to ADT Commercial’s growth.
  • Fostering strong business relationships, creating a level of trust, and uncovering the best opportunities that generate the most revenue.

Duties & Responsibilities:
GPO Agreements

  • Evaluate GPO vehicles and develop short and long-term plans for growth
  • Maintain data base of materials needed to respond to GPO RFPs
  • Lead development and on-going management of GPO agreements and state contracts
  • Participate in GPO Business Reviews as required
  • Field and/or support in-bound RFP’s for new GPO opportunities.
  • Working with Finance Department, develop and maintain system for tracking GPO vehicles

Prospecting New Business

  • Field and/or support in-bound RFP’s for new opportunities.
  • Facilitate a handoff with the assigned RSD and Sales Manager to pursue new RFP opportunities.
  • Assist districts in selling to new and existing clients
  • Overview Dodge Reports for opportunities in this vertical market and communicate appropriately

District Sales Support

  • Develop comprehensive playbook for local District sales teams prospecting and working with GOPs and state contracts
  • Working with Training Department develop and host training sessions for the State and Local vertical
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop ADT branded collateral for District sales teams.
