Description

  • Strategically lead supplier performance improvement projects in an effort to increase the supplier consistency in meeting HydraForce requirements. Projects may include: process analysis, value stream mapping, process capability and throughput analysis, 6‐Sigma, 5S and Kaizen events
  • Monitor, communicate and improve key supply chain KPI's, including Supplier OTD (Past due), DPPM and waste
  • Communicate concerns and successes of supplier quality management up the chain to upper management
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills to identify and correct issues in a timely, yea effective manner
  • Work with Purchasing to ensure appropriate and timely corrective actions are implemented
  • Assist Purchasing group in the evaluation and qualification of new suppliers
  • Support the resolution of customer and internal product quality issues as they relate to supplied components
  • Maintain and update critical supplier audit system and schedule
  • Conduct supplier audits to drive process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement
  • Travel to supplier locations to resolve quality problems

Profile

  • Team player with the ability to communicate both up and down the chain of command
  • Champion problem solver with the ability to identify, implement, and communicate new plans based on internal and external findings
  • Strong grasp on lean manufacturing
  • 5+ years of experience (preferably in supplier quality)
  • Bachelor Degree required
  • Comfortable with travel within driving distance 1-2 times a month
  • Self-starting, motivated individual

Job Offer

  • $85-$100k per year salary
  • 3 weeks PTO + 10 Holidays

  • Typical days run 6am - 3/4pm
